Switched from desktop to online and Quickbooks changed my merchant account number

I switched from desktop to online.  I looked at my payment processing and everything transferred to online, including the merchant number and bank info, so I thought I was good to go.  I processed my first ACH payment online and expected it in a couple of days like I used to but apparently QB changed my merchant number and I had to start all over again with the authorization of a new account.  I was not given any warning or heads up that this was going to happen.  The money was deducted from my clients account the next day but I still have not received it and it has been 5 days and it still says pending.  I am not very happy, QB should have given me a heads up so that I was able to prepare to not receive the money for a week.

We understand that delays are bothersome.

Let me share why we hold funds when processing payments through QuickBooks Payments.

In some cases, we review payments regularly to ensure everything is in order. They may not be on hold if they're taking longer than usual. For new users, it may take longer to process while we set everything up.

To check the status of the payments, you can Sign in to the Merchant Service Center anytime. Once you see the word Withheld in the Method column, the payment is still under review.

If it's put on hold, we'll notify you via email. It contains detailed instructions on how to move forward. Typically, we need further information so we can finish our review. For further details, you may go to this link: Why are my funds on hold?

Additionally, I would advise getting in touch with our QuickBooks Payments customer support if the payments didn't go through in the specified period. This way, they can assist you in determining the status of your deposits.

Furthermore, you and your clients can easily view payment and tip amounts on the QuickBooks card reader's LED Display. Using sensors, you may verify tips and totals.

You can always get back to us if you have any clarifications about processing payments. We're always here to cater to your concerns.
