Currently, we have an open investigation (INV-40315) for this issue. I recommend contacting support to be added to the list of affected users; this way, you can receive email updates on the concern and when a fix is released. To contact support:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?) at the top right.
  3. Hit Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.

What is the update on this issue?  I'm seeing this issue started 9-19-19 and 9-20-19.  The full details from paypal today are still not being loaded.

I've checked our record and found out that this has been resolved. Since transactions from Paypal are still not syncing to QBO,  let's manually update your Paypal account. This way, QuickBooks can establish a new integrated connection to download your transactions.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click Banking from the navigation panel.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select the account you're updating.
  4. Click the Update button at the top right.

For now, we can manually upload your bank transactions to your QuickBooks account. I've listed our supported file formats below:

  • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Quicken (QFX)

You can follow these steps in uploading the file:

  1. Select Banking from the sidebar menu, then click the Banking tab.
  2. Hit the Upload transactions button.
  3. Click Browse, then choose the file you downloaded from your bank.
  4. Select the account you want to upload the transactions into from the QuickBooks account ▼ drop-down menu, then select Next
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions, then click Next.
  6. When you’re ready, click Let's go.

Once done, you can match and categorize your bank transactions.

The issue has been fixed and is tag as closed. If you're getting the same results, I highly recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Team. They can further investigate why you're still unable to reconnect PayPal with QuickBooks.

 

Contact us through your product

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to Help (?).
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  5. Choose Start a chat to connect with a support expert.

Due to COVID-19, we have limited staffing and have reduced our support hours to 6 AM-6 PM PT Monday-Friday. We will resume normal hours as soon as possible.

 

For now, you can manually import missing transactions. The steps provided by my colleague @GlinetteC will guide you through the steps.
