The QB website implies that QB payments can be integrated into WooCommerce w/o 3rd party apps. How?

https://quickbooks.intuit.com/payments/ecommerce/#additional-compatible-providers shows woocommerce as an additional compatible provider. The page also provides rates of service and gives a 3 step "How e-commerce processing works". Is this page misleading or where is the QB created plugin?

Hi there, @99duckey

I'll be happy to provide you the steps to connect QuickBooks Payments in WooCommerce.

Here's how:

  1. After buying the extension from the WooCommerce page, download and install it in your WooCommerce store.
  2. Login to your Intuit Payments account and grab your credentials.
  3. Save this info in settings under WooCommerce. Go to Settings and choose Payments.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions.

That’s it! You can sit back and enjoy easy payment processing using Intuit. If you need further assistance, I recommend reaching out to the WooCommerce support. They'll walk you through how to link your online store to your QuickBooks account.

Furthermore, you'll want to automate your accounting by connecting WooCommerce and QuickBooks Online. This saves time by automatically sharing data between the two.

Please fill me in if you have further questions or concerns. I'm determined to help you succeed. Have a good day!

@LieraMarie_A  What extension are you referring to? The closest fit I see appears to be obsolete and is from a 3rd party developer.

Does anyone else know what plugin @LieraMarie_A may be referring to?

Welcome back, 99duckey.

AS much as I like to check this for you, third-party apps are non-intuit and have no access to their software.

You can check WooCommerce website for the steps on how to connect with QuickBooks Online.

Also, we have a separate forum dedicated to developers and the creation of applications. This site contains resources for software development and the ability to ask fellow developers questions. You can find additional info by checking out this link: Intuit Developer.

I would like to note that QuickBooks Online customers have the right to upgrade to an earlier version of their current subscription package if the requirement is not met with their current subscription. Before downgrading or upgrading your current subscription plan, you do not want to say that you cannot re-transfer your previous subscription until the next trading day or at least 24 hours later. Later, you a further exchange/upgrade/downgrade your subscription according to your needs. You can also use premium woocommerce themes.
