When I click "mark invoice as paid" I get a popup that says "transaction typeinvoice: 100000996" but it doesn't mark the invoice as paid...

I have tried hitting refresh and searching for the invoice number again. I suppose some helpful soul is going to tell me I need to clear my cookies and maybe run my laptop through the dishwasher. What should I do so I don't have this invoice showing as unpaid and a month from now I erroneously bark at the customer

I understand this can be concerning, especially when managing your invoices, Bjorn2.

To ensure compatibility with QuickBooks, log in using QuickBooks-supported web browsers to prevent errors, such as being unable to mark the invoice as paid.

If the issue persists, I suggest contacting our Live Support team directly. They can help you determine the root cause of the error when marking the invoice as paid. Here’s how to reach them.

  1. Head to the Help icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
  2. Select the Contact Us option.
  3. Enter your concerns, then hit Continue.

If you want to customize and manage your invoices, refer to this article: Create invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
