The QuickBooks mobile app and mobile browser interface are both designed for vertical scrolling up and down, EricL. I'm here to assist you with troubleshooting and provide suggestions to help resolve the issue you've encounter.

If QuickBooks requires you to swipe sideways to create an invoice, I recommend checking your device's settings to ensure they are configured correctly. If everything appears to be in order but the issue persists, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile app. This process ensures you have the latest version, which may include important bug fixes that can resolve the issues you were experiencing with earlier versions.

However, if you are accessing QuickBooks through a mobile browser and experiencing this issue, I recommend using a supported browser. For detailed information on QuickBooks system requirements and a list of supported browsers, please refer to this article: System requirements for QuickBooks Online products.

Additionally, I've included an article that may assist you in effectively managing your business finances while on the move. This resource is designed to facilitate the next steps in streamlining your financial processes: Edit an invoice payment using the QuickBooks Online app.

We are here to ensure that you can create invoices smoothly on your mobile device, EricL. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reply. We are happy to help you.

I don’t feel like you are seeing the situation exactly. I’m using Quickbooks mobile app on iPad which has always worked great for years. Then when the major change was made on the platform here a while back it seems like it all fell apart.

The problem is when in an invoice or estimate You try to take your finger to scroll the whole page up or down it only causes you to grab the item that your finger happens to be touching to scroll the page, and it moves the item sideways, instead of scrolling the page up and down. All it is is a sensitivity issue that needs to be adjusted in the code software for use with iPads.
all of my software is up-to-date including Apple and latest QuickBooks. But problem persists and it has been going on for sometime now even with previous firmware versions of QuickBooks.

are the engineers actually testing this on iPads and iPad Pro systems? If they are they would see what we are talking about. Other people are having the same issue. It makes the app really unusable to create and alter invoices and estimates etc. We have to actually go to a laptop or browser version to work, which eliminates the need completely to even have an app.
