Hello there.
There are several reasons why the instant deposit option may be missing from certain QuickBooks accounts. Let me walk you through them.
Only eligible QuickBooks Payments users can sign up for instant deposits. If you're eligible, you'll see a notification in QuickBooks Online.
Once activated, eligible transactions will be marked as available for instant deposit. Please note that not all payments qualify. There are some transactions do not qualify for instant deposit. The option will not appear if the payment falls under these categories:
- Instant deposits are primarily available for credit card payments and are typically not supported for ACH bank transfers.
- The payment may be flagged for review by QuickBooks' fraud and risk system. During the review process, the funds are placed on hold, and the Instant Deposit option will not be available.
- Payments processed after 3:00 PM PT are usually included in the next day's batch for standard deposit timing, which may disable the Instant Deposit option.
- Instant Deposit has strict limits on both daily amounts and usage frequency. If these limits are exceeded, the feature will become temporarily unavailable.
I hope this information has helped clarify why the Instant Deposit option may be unavailable in certain situations. If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. We're here to support you every step of the way.
