Here's what you can do to resolve it and change your phone number:
- ID Verification: Please start by taking a high-quality photo or scan of a valid identification document, such as your driver's license, state ID, passport, or a notarized document.
- Fill Out the Account Recovery Form: Next, follow this link to the article that explains the account recovery process: Recover your account when you can't sign in. On that page, you'll find a form where you can provide your information and upload the ID or document you prepared earlier.
- Wait for Approval: Our Account Protection Team will review your request promptly, usually within one business day. Keep an eye on your email inbox for messages from no_response@intuit.com. This email will contain the next steps in the recovery process. If your request is approved, you'll receive a link to reset your password.
