Changes to Projects

Please make a change to allow each Project under a customer to have it's own address. Most construction companies use projects as separate jobsites but we can't add a separate address. Of course we can name the project by it's address. However, when I create a schedule for my employees on the Workforce app, there is no ability to get directions from the map feature. Please make this change ASAP!

Changes to Projects

We are thrilled to have you here in the Community space, Grether. We understand how important it is for you to conveniently manage projects in your QuickBooks Online account.

It's always our priority to have you use the program based on your needs and wants. Currently, the option to allow each product under a customer to have its own address is unavailable. If this is something we need to improve in the future, it would be best to suggest your comments or feature requests to our software engineers. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Feedback.
  2. Type in your feature request.
  3. Click Next to submit.

Changes to Projects

We are having this exact issue as well. We are trying to geofence individual jobs from the same customer. We cannot edit the job address for each job under the same customer. For us to rebuild our customer list and individual jobs would be thousands of entries. Has anyone else been able to fix this.

Changes to Projects

We understand the significance of having the option to edit the job address for each job under the same customer in QuickBooks Online (QBO), PDND79.

Momentarily, the said feature is not an option in QBO. However, it would help our product engineers improve our services by sending feedback about this directly to them. This way, they'll be notified and may consider this functionality in future updates.

To proceed with sending the feedback, kindly follow the steps below:

  1. Log in with your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear ⚙ icon and select Feedback.
  3. Enter your product comments and suggestions. After that, click Next to submit.

Also, I've added this article to help you track and organize your projects in QuickBooks: Manage Projects - QuickBooks Online.

Keep us posted if you have more questions regarding your projects in QBO. We'll make sure you're taken care of.
