deleting prior members and data

I want to get my employees to report to the correct manager and when i went into QB Time, there were over a thousand people listed as members - none of them my team. I've been deleting them individually, but is there a way to mass delete them and try and clean past data out of QB Time, which we haven't used for years....??

deleting prior members and data

Thank you for using QuickBooks Time to track employee time, @SEJBW. I can help you with mass deleting prior members and data.

Before deleting the members listed in your QuickBooks Time, we need to first delete their corresponding data or time entries to ensure a smooth workflow. Here's how to delete your timesheet:

Note: If you forget to clock in or out, you may adjust your time, provided your admin has permitted you.

  1. Go to the Time Entries section and click on Timesheets.
  2. Choose the correct date range and locate the specific timesheet that needs to be edited or deleted.
  3. If you want to edit the timesheet, click on Edit Time, make the necessary changes, and click on Save to confirm the modifications. If you want to delete the timesheet, click on Delete Time and then select Delete again to confirm the action.

To archive multiple team members, you will need to proceed as follows:

  1. Go to your QuickBooks Time and select My Team.
  2. Click on Add team members, then choose Import from software.
  3. Select Spreadsheet (.csv) click on Export team member list, and then Export List.
  4. Open the spreadsheet, locate the active column, and change the status to archived.
  5. Save the spreadsheet.
    a. If you are using a different spreadsheet program such as Excel or Google Sheets, save the updated file in .csv format before uploading it.
  6. In QuickBooks Time, select Choose File, find the file, and select Open.
  7. Select Next and review the data. If everything looks correct for the import, then select Import List.

Furthermore, I'm including these handy resources that you may utilize when setting up time off accruals and timesheet approvals:

Please know that I'm just a reply away if you need any further assistance with deleting prior members and data in QuickBooks Time. Have a good one.
