Duplicate Estimates

It's great to have you join this forum, Nolo. I'm here to provide information to help you manage and duplicate estimates in your online account.

In QuickBooks, estimates are non-posting entries and don't affect your financial books. If you have a customer who has a repeat invoice or quotation, you can duplicate an estimate instead of entering all the information twice. To do this:

  1. In your QBO account, go to Sales and select All Sales.
  2. Click on the Estimates tile or choose the transaction from the Type dropdown.
  3. Find the specific estimate.
  4. In the Action column, select the dropdown ▼. Then select Duplicate
  5. Edit the estimate as needed and select Save.

Moreover, you may utilize this reference to help you link an estimate to an invoice and send these forms to your customers: Convert an estimate into an invoice in QuickBooks Online. Once your customer pays them, you need to record that payment, so your books are accurate.

Let me know if there's anything else you need further assistance with when managing sales entries in your file. I'll respond promptly to help you achieve your goal. Stay safe and have a great day ahead!
