In QuickBooks, estimates are non-posting entries and don't affect your financial books. If you have a customer who has a repeat invoice or quotation, you can duplicate an estimate instead of entering all the information twice. To do this:
- In your QBO account, go to Sales and select All Sales.
- Click on the Estimates tile or choose the transaction from the Type dropdown.
- Find the specific estimate.
- In the Action column, select the dropdown ▼. Then select Duplicate.
- Edit the estimate as needed and select Save.
