Allow me to share some information about keeping your projects in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @mikem8.
As of the moment, the option to lock a completed project in QBO isn't available yet. Since you'll want to keep the project in the system for historical records, we can export them to Excel for your future use. Here's how to do it.
- Select Projects from the left menu.
- Under the Status section, click the dropdown arrow and choose Completed.
- Click the specific customer or project.
- From the Overview section, select the Export to Excel icon beside the Print list icon and it'll automatically download the Excel file.
