Quickbooks Workforce IPhone App Not Working

Yesterday, the IPhone app would not load at all for our employees.  Today, we have an employee who clicks "clock in" and the app IMMEDIATELY clocks him out on his side.  On the QB Time side, it shows he clocked in but he was not able to clock out.  See attached video.  He already tried updating the app, uninstalling and reinstalling.  Please advise.  We have had SO many problems with Quickbooks Time, that it seems like we are paying every month for a service that does not work and just gives us more headaches.

Since your employees are experiencing issues with the iPhone app and a specific one is automatically being clocked out immediately, you'll want to let them ensure the location services are enabled. You or the QuickBooks Time admin need to review if the location permission in the app is required because it affects the clock-in feature to work.

 

You also mentioned QuickBooks Time shows he clocked in but wasn't able to clock out, this is one of the reasons if your location is incorrect or missing. To start the troubleshooting, follow the steps below:  

 

  1. Turn the device off and back on.
  2. Go to Settings, select Privacy & Security, then Location Services
    1. Make sure Location Services is turned on. 
    2. Turn it off and back on again to refresh.
    3. Find and select Workforce in the list, and set Allow Location Access to Always.
    4. Turn on Precise Location.
