Is there any better answers to questions about QB?
It seems like when users ask about pretty basic items that should have been considered by the programmers, we get the same reply from the BOTs that work for QB: No, but might be a great idea, send us some feedback and we will consider.
Most of these items are pretty basic issues that anyone who runs a business would know were needed.

I have one employee - ME. However, my work involves various skill sets that I bill at different rates, as well as some customers who I still bill at my 2011 rates, my 2016 rates, etc. I actually set up different billing rates with different SERVICE codes, and choose those. One of those codes is CONSULTING, and the rate I set there is $0.00.
Would that be a work around for your issue?
