Time Sheets Data

Hello,

I find time activities data under "Reports" and "Time" are different. I can see data under "Time" is up-to-data, while data under "Reports" is up to March 9th only. This also applies to the time-activities data pulled through the API.

Time Sheets Data

Allow me to address the difference between your Reports and Time data.

Firstly, the Time section shows real-time data by tracking recent activities such as time entries and billable hours. In contrast, Reports may not update instantly. They rely on scheduled refreshes or manual updates.

To resolve the difference between the data of your Time section and Reports tab, please export all your approved time in QuickBooks Time to QuickBooks Online so that your data in the Time section and Report tabs will match.

Once done, ensure that the filter and date of your report are correct when viewing them.

Moving forward, I suggest posting your concern about the time-activities data pulled from the API to our Developer Community. This Developer Community is where our developers interact with others to talk about programming concerns.

Here's how:

  1. Go to this link: Intuit Developer Support
  2. Log in to your Intuit Developer Account or Create a new one
  3. Below the What you need help with, choose QuickBooks Online.
  4. Click Ask a question
  5. Hit Ask

Additionally, you can check out this article to learn how to memorize your report so you can use the same customization in the future: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have further concerns about your data in your time and report tab or need assistance with QuickBooks. Keep safe.
