Why is tsheets now asking for a 3rd level verification?

When I'm logging into t-sheets now I get prompted for password, prompted for email verification code then prompted for a text message verification. Why is this happening and can  you make it stop?

Thanks

Why is tsheets now asking for a 3rd level verification?

Thanks for reaching out, Jamie.

QuickBooks Time now requires a third level of verification to provide an extra layer of security and safeguard your account and information. This additional step is part of their multi-factor authentication process to ensure that only authorized users can access sensitive data.

If this feature isn’t working well for your business, you can disable it. Here’s how to turn it off if you're using the same phone number:

  1. Sign in to your Intuit account.
  2. Tap Sign In & Security from the left menu.
  3. In the Two-step verification section, hit Turn off.
  4. Enter the code.
  5. Select Continue.

If you’re using a different phone number, you’ll need to update your phone number first so you can log in to the account. Once done, you can now turn off the two-step verification.

For more information about this process, refer to this article: Secure your Intuit Account and prevent lockout with extra verification methods.
