Currently, the option to create a portable company file for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac is unavailable, Trisha. Don't worry. I've got a workaround to share.
Since there's no option to accomplish this task, I recommend converting their QBDT for Windows company file to Mac so that you can open it on your version of QuickBooks.
