What is happening?
It has been reported that QuickBooks users are experiencing 2 different issues.
- When double clicking any account in the Chart of Accounts, nothing happens. The bank register or a report should pop up.
- When trying to open any report, as soon as the report opens an Unrecoverable error happens and QuickBooks closes after selecting Send or Don’t Send.
Why is this happening?
We have seen this issue occur on systems with the latest version of RoboForm installed. To verify that this program is installed, go to the Programs and Features section of the Windows Control Panel.
What you can try now:
Uninstalling RoboForm has been found to resolve this issue. If removing RoboForm is not an option, running QuickBooks as admin will prevent the issue from happening.
Note: When User Account Control (UAC) is enabled, if you run a program as Administrator (elevated), you might not be able to see network drives unless a registry setting is changed to allow it. Please consult your IT Professional for assistance if you experience this issue.
Run QuickBooks as Administrator
1. While QuickBooks is closed, right click on the QuickBooks Icon
2. Choose Run as administrator
3. QuickBooks will open with Administrator privileges
