Anyone else having issues with getting your reciepts to enter on the mobile app? I've been trying for the last week and it will just sit there uploading.

Good afternoon jcwhitworth76,

 

Thank you for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community. We are seeing a few reports for this coming in, especially for Andriod users thus far. So, for now, we are asking users to do the following: 

 

  1. For Andriod users, Reset the app's data (QuickBooks Settings > Refresh Data)
  2. For Andriod users, Clear the app's cache (Phone Settings > Apps > QuickBooks > Storage > Clear Cache) 
  3. For both Andriod and IOS, check for app updates
  4. Reinstall the app
  5. Log out and back in
  6. Reboot the phone/tablet
  7. Switch to a different Wi-Fi or mobile network
  8. Check for iOS/Android updates

 

Please let me know if your receipts have been uploaded or if the problem persists! I will be looking forward to your response. See you soon.

I appreciate the steps you did as you followed what my colleague said. Allow me to route you to our support.  

 

Since you're still having problems despite following the steps above, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online (QBO) support since they have the necessary tools and the capability to help you further when it comes to uploading your receipts to your QBO mobile. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. In your QBO account, select Help (?)
  2. Choose the Search tab.
  3. At the bottom of your screen, click Contact Us.  
  4. Type your concern. Then click Continue
  5. You may choose CallbackAppointment, or Chat as your way to connect with us. 
  6. Kindly fill out the provided field such as your First nameLast nameEmail address, and Phone number. 
  7. Depending on what you choose as your way to connect with us, click CallbackSchedule appointment, or Ch

 

Alternatively, you can upload your receipts through a web browser. Kindly follow these steps: 

 

  1. Go to the Transactions menu located at the left navigation panel.
  2. Choose the Receipts tab. 
  3. In the Receipts window, click the Upload from Computer option. 
  4. Choose the file that you want to upload.
  5. Press Open. After this, you'll see the receipt in the For Review tab. 

 

Know that it's not recommended to upload a receipts with sensitive or personal information such as credit card numbers and government identifiers.

 

In addition, QuickBooks supports PDF, JPEG, JPG, GIF, and PNG images. If you have a newer iPhone or iPad, your images might be in the HEIC format. You can convert HEIC images to a compatible format.
