App transaction mapping for Amazon payouts after connecting AZ Seller Account to QBO

I am trying out connecting QBO to my Amazon Seller Account. I'm not interested in order information but want it to help with categorizing/splitting my payouts. I went to app transactions > app settings > advanced. I changed the mapping there to be the categories I want the payout transaction to be split up into and mapped to. It all looks correct on the advanced settings page. But when I review an app transaction and accept it, it gets categorized differently. On the P&L it shows up under Channel lines instead of the categories I wanted it to go to. Is there a way to do what I want it to?

I'll share some information about how to manage transactions from your Amazon Seller account to QuickBooks Online.

 

QuickBooks only depends on the mapped category set from your app settings. Since it was categorized differently, I recommend reaching out to the app's customer care. This way, they can further provide information on how the transactions from your Amazon Seller account are categorized into QuickBooks.

 

You may also want to connect your Amazon Business account to QuickBooks. This will help you track your purchases in QuickBooks Online.
