Batch Tracking

Does QB offer batch tracking or product inventory tracking options? We are wanting to record and track the products made daily to help with reporting and recalls.

You can keep track of your on-hand inventory, receive alerts when it's time to restock, and gain valuable insights into your purchasing and sales habits in QuickBooks Online (QBO). It's important to note that the inventory features are only available for QBO Plus and Advanced. If you use a different plan, you can upgrade to keep track of your inventory.

 

Here's how to set up and manage your inventory:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  2. Open the Sales tab.
  3. Choose Edit in the Products and services section.
  4. Turn on Show Product/Service column on sales forms. You can also enable price rules to set up flexible pricing for the things you sell.
  5. Toggle on both Track quantity and price/rate and Track inventory quantity on hand.
  6. Hit Save and then Done.
