Can add one more custom field to our customer information?

You can use other fields to do this, beachoholic.

 

At this time, there's no option to add a custom field in the customer's profile. I'd suggest using the Notes or Attachments instead.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click Sales on the left panel.
  2. Choose Customers.
  3. Find the customer on the list, and then click the name.
  4. Click the Edit button in the upper right-hand corner.
  5. In the Customer information page, go to the Notes or Attachments section.
  6. Enter the customer's additional details.
  7. Click Save.

I've seen similar posts from other users requesting to have this option added in QBO. It would be best to send feedback to our engineers to add this option in a future update. Here's the link to share your thoughts and suggestions about QBO: https://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/.

Adding the customer details in the Notes section will definitely show in the Customer Contact List report. 

 

  1. In the Reports page, search Customer Contact List.
  2. Click on the Customize button.
  3. In the Filter section, check the Note box.
  4. Click on Run report.
