Can an estimate sent to a customer have a different reply email than the invoice sent a customer?

When the sales department sends an estimate, the response from the customer comes to the accounting department email. We would like the estimate reply to go to Sales email and the invoice reply to go to Accounting department.

Can an estimate sent to a customer have a different reply email than the invoice sent a customer?

Thanks for dropping by here in the Community, @carey-growingroo. Allow me to share some details about creating a separate email for an estimate and an invoice in QuickBooks Online.

As of the moment, the option to create a separate email for an invoice and estimate isn’t available yet. However, you can edit the email address and manually enter the new one accordingly.

Alternatively, you can also automatically set-up your Cc/Bcc emails in your settings, so you don't have to always add them manually.

Here’s how:

  1. Go the Gear icon then Account and settings.
  2. Select the Sales tab.
  3. Scroll down to the Message section and click to edit.
  4. Choose Invoice under the Sales form drop-down menu ▼ (make sure you don't edit the email subject line).
  5. Type in the Cc email and Bcc email if applicable.
  6. Select Save then Done.

You can also send feedback to our developer's team. This way, they can include this feature in the next updates.

Don't hesitate to post again here if you have other questions or concerns with QuickBooks tasks and navigations. I'm always around happy to help. Stay safe and have a good one!
