Hello there, @thebakery50.
I have some insights about unit of measure in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and I'll guide you in sending feedback or product recommendations to help improve the features and your experience using the product.
For the time being, the Units of Measure feature is only available in the QuickBooks Desktop version. However, you can integrate a third-party application that can perform the task for you.
On the other hand, I can see how the benefit of being able to change the unit of measure on inventory items would aid you in managing your sales transactions with QBO. With this, I would encourage you to send suggestions or product recommendations. We'll take them as opportunities to improve the various features of our products.
Your valuable feedback will be forwarded and reviewed by our Product Development team and will help improve your experience while using the program. Here's how:
Also, you can use reports to see inventory status and performance. You may want to check out this article to learn more about this process in QBO: Use reports to see your sales and inventory status.
On top of that, I'd also recommend visiting this page to keep you updated with the latest software improvements and enhancements with QBO: Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online.
Please feel free to comment below if you have other concerns about managing inventory items in QBO. I'm always ready to help. Take care, @thebakery50.
You need a 3rd party inventory management app to integrate with QBO.
