Buy now & saveHello there, @userbctcsales.
Yes, you can create an invoice with a future date. However, you'd want to save it first then, just make sure to mark the Send Later tickbox. I can guide you on how to do it.
On the day that you want to send it, just locate the invoices from the All Sales page and send it. Here's how:
You can mark all the invoices and send them together.
Also, you can open each invoice and send it one by one. You can read through this article for more detailed steps: How to email or print an invoice.

Hi,
I have a client who owes me $600 and is suppose to pay it in 6 monthly installments on the 5th of each month.
I understand that I can create a recurring invoice but I also want the $600 to reflect in our AR report.
The way I solve this now is to create 6 future invoices and set reminders to send them manually but this is very tedious - how do I automate this? I also would love to have an online form that the client can use to initiate the entire process when signing up for the service
thanks
Ariel
Thanks for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community @Ariel77,
I can share some insights about this invoicing concern you're having.
At the moment, setting multiple reminders for a single invoice is currently unavailable. The system can send invoice reminders once based on its due date.
What you're doing is the current workaround for now, so the customers get reminded of their payments. Otherwise, you can set email reminders outside QuickBooks through your emailing service.
For now, you can visit our app store to get invoicing tools or other apps to help with your sales processing. Click this link to our website: QuickBooks Apps
We also have a separate forum called Intuit Developers, where you can find engineers who can help recommend third-party applications to use. Click this community link: Intuit Developers Community.
Post again if you have other sales management concerns in QuickBooks. I'll be right here to help anytime. Have a wonderful day!
I am having the same concern, did anyone find a solution to this?

Thanks for checking out the Community, Meriem. Allow me to provide details regarding the invoice's reminder.
In QuickBooks Online(QBO), you can create an invoice with a future date, but setting up multiple reminders for a single invoice is unavailable.
My colleague mentioned above as a workaround, you can set email reminders outside QuickBooks through your emailing service or use a third-party app that provides invoicing reminders.
You can visit our app store to look for other apps that suit your current needs: QuickBooks Apps.
I've included this article as a reference when creating invoices in the new QBO layout: What's new with Estimates and Invoices.
