Can I customize Budget to Actual reports to compare actuals for a specific time period (ie 2 months) with the total annual budget?

Welcome to the Community! I'd be more than happy to provide you with some information about customizing an Budget vs. Actual report. 

You should be able to use the Report Period feature to fulfill your requests to compare actuals for a specific time frame with the total annual budget. Here's how to get there and change the settings: 

1. Go to the Reports tab on the left-hand menu bar. 
2. Tap Reports at the top and then the Standard portion of the page. 
3. Scroll down until you see the Business Overview section and select the Budget vs. Actuals report. 
4. At the top of the report, edit the report period to your liking. After that, the page will load with the settings you choose. 

You'll be able to see the information for the months you wanted plus the total for all that you selected. Here's two other guides that can help you out in the future:

The Budget vs. Accruals report is only available in QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced. May I know what version of QuickBooks are you subscribed to and the information are you trying to get so I can recommend another report?
