I recognize the significance of modifying the customer statement in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Allow me to update you on this particular option.
At this time, it isn't possible to modify the customer statement template in QBO. Our engineers are working tirelessly to enhance the product and deliver an optimal experience for all QuickBooks users. Although this option isn't currently available, I suggest submitting feedback directly to them. They are responsible for deciding which features will be added in the future.
To send your request:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Select Feedback.
- Enter your comments or product suggestions.
- Tap Next to submit.
As a workaround, here's a few customization options for statements:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Select Account and settings.
- Select the Sales tab and go to the Statements section.
- Select Edit ✎.
- Select List each transaction as a single line or List each transaction including all detail lines.
- Select the Show aging table at bottom of statement option.
- Select Save and Done.
Additionally, on the "Create Statements" page, you can select from three options to change the view of your statement: Balance Forward, Open Item, and Transaction Statement.
