This is a garbage response. THE NEW INVOICE is 100% garbage no new functionality and you took away old functionality. In other words bend over. Shameful roll out from a company that that takes their customers for granted. The only good course of action is a roll back to the previous version until they properly assess customer feed backand beta test this garbage. Anything less is a signal to look for an alternative (Xero, Netsuite, Shopify Plus).
THIS. The new invoicing system is SO much more tedious and inefficient. I can no longer just scroll halfway up the page and click "enter credit card details". I now have to try to search like an idiot to even find how or where to enter them, then I have to go to a completely different screen to enter payment details. But guess what? When it takes me to the new screen, I can no longer see the customer's address...which I need to input when I'm manually entering credit card info. So now when I'm taking phone orders and I ask the customer for their address, I then go to the screen where I can receive the payment, and I have to ask them for it AGAIN.
The new template also looks terrible and doesn't fit the same amount of characters per line where our business info is, so instead it just splits our phone number in the middle and puts half of it on the second line. That is so wildly unprofessional.
Do you know we are running a business? No playing klick at the computer. On the new layout I have halve page of my company and customer information. When I enter the items I have to use 2 pages for the invoice. Legaly a customer will sign the second page with the total but they can claim the first page was edited etc. Why you want us to waste paper and time. WHY!!
DONT TELL ME YOU UNDERSTAND OUR FRUSTRATION. YOU DONT RUN A BUSINESS. YOU GUYS NEED TO FIX THIS PERIOD.
Lets just move to a new bookkeeping system! This is unreal that you have all these hidden fields that you cannot get rid of! We cannot even make our own template anymore! You want me to pay my date entry clerk have to go through all these fields before you actually get to where you can enter the data for the invoice! We don't even use purchase orders but the field is on the invoice along with 10 others! I have been a pro-advisor with QB 25 years, it is time to move on!
