It's good to hear that you want to move your QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale to QuickBooks Online version, @okcorralwww. I'll provide you the steps to achieve your goal.
Currently, QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale only links to the desktop versions. To move the file, I'd suggest looking for a third-party app that can integrate with QBO. This way, you can use a cloud-based POS that can extend your account functionality. You can either go to the Apps menu or through the external QuickBooks App Center. I'll guide you on how.
To find apps within QBO:
Once done, you can now integrate Shopify to QBO. For the app center, let's go to this link: apps.intuit.com. Then, perform the last four steps I've provided above.
Also, you can turn on the inventory tracking feature in Account and Settings. That way, you can manually add the products in the program using the inventory lists and balances from their POS file.

Migration from another system to Hike is very easy. You’ll simply export your customer and products data from your existing system and import that in Hike with their bulk-import feature. If you require, they also offer free help with data migration. Simply contact their Support team and they will have you up and running in no time.
