Can I remove the "insert a row above" plus sign on invoices? This must have come on the last update because it wasn't there before. It's messed up my tabbing system. TY!

I appreciate you for getting back and adding a screenshot of your concern, @bexmg.

 

The Insert a row above pop-up will only show up once you hover your mouse to the icon beside the column. The icon allows you to add lines or insert a row for your products or services. You can click on any of the fields on your invoice to remove the sign and the pop-up. If you wish to add a line, simply click on the Add lines button below the Product/Service.

I can see the importance of removing the + sign or the Insert a row above from your invoice fields. For now, you can use the Feedback feature to send this idea directly to our engineering team. This way, they could take action to help improve your experience. Rest assured they're working nonstop to enhance the product and deliver the best experiences to all QuickBooks users. 

 

Here's how you can send feedback through QuickBooks:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

Thank you for your reply.  

Yes, I can see that hovering makes the + sign appear---however, my fault with it is that I have 1 extra "tab" to insert now when creating invoices, i.e., when I tab from the prior line ending to the next field, etc. It's not that big of a deal, it's just that it's thrown me off now. I will send it in later on.
