Need to be able to run a report for a customer contact list per sales representative.

Can I run a customer contact list by Sales Rep?

Thank you for posting here in the Community. Let me help you run a report in QuickBooks Online. that will show the Customer Contact List by Sales rep.  

 

The Customer Contact List Report doesn't have the option to show Customer Detail by Sales Rep. However, you can run other reports depending on how you track your Sales Representative. 

 

If you use the custom fields and add Sales Rep in the column, you can the Sales by Customer Detail report, and filter Sales by Rep. Otherwise, if you use Class, you can run the Sales by Class Detail report and use a filter for Class. Then, if you want to check the customers associated with the sales representative, you can also add a filter for customers. Let me guide you through the steps. 

 

To Filter items in a report by custom fields: 

 

  1. Find and open the report you want to run.
  2. Select Customize at the top of the report screen.
  3. In the Customize report panel, select Filter to expand the section. (You may need to scroll down the panel to see it.)
  4. Check the box for each field you want to use as a filter. Then enter or select the specific values for each field.
  5. Select Run report.

 

Here's how to Group items in a report by a custom field: 

 

  1. Find and open the report you want to run.
  2. Select Customize at the top of the report screen.
  3. In the Customize report panel, select Rows/Columns to expand the section (if needed).
  4. In the Group by dropdown list, select the custom field you want to group the report items by.
  5. Select Run report.
