Can I see the notes on Customer on an Accounts receivable aging summary? So I don't have to toggle back and forth?

Hi there, fandsinvestment.

Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community. Let me share details on how the Accounts Receivable aging summary report works in QuickBooks. Then, ensure you can send feedback so your suggestion is forwarded to the Product Development Team.

Seeing the notes on an Accounts receivable aging summary report isn't currently unavailable. This is because pulling up the said report is to view the total outstanding balances and how long they’re past due.

For now, I suggest going to the Gear icon in QuickBooks Online. From there, you're able to choose Feedback to submit a request about viewing the notes of a customer on an Accounts receivable aging summary report. Any recommendations are sent to our engineer for consideration in future updates.

Lastly, you may refer to this article to view details on how you can customize various reports to focus on the details that you want to see and give you tons of great info about your business: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know if you have additional questions about any reports in QBO. I'll get back to you soon, fandsinvestment. Take care and more power to your business!

This was my work around. On Customer center, you've got to put the "latest note" you want to see as a pinned note for each customer. Then open Report>Customers & Rec> Customer contact list and modify to show Columns (in my case): Rep, Customer, Balance Total, Days Overdue, Terms, Credit Limit & Notes.

Filter balance total>$0 and Filter Customer Job Level = 0 (this last filter is so only "parent" names appear and not each job name)

Thanks for the info

I went to the Customer list. Found the Notes but I cannot find Balance Total. What QB level are you on?
