Can I write several checks at one time without having to save and close after each check?

Hello there, @bonnie69. Allow me to share insights on how you can enter multiple checks all at once in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you're subscribed to QBO Advanced, you can utilize the Batch Transactions feature to create multiple checks simultaneously.

Here's how:

  1. Go to + New and select Batch Transactions.
  2. In the Select Transaction Type dropdown, select Checks.
  3. Enter the necessary information, then Save.

However, if you're a QBO Simple Start, Plus, and Essentials user, I recommend searching for a compatible third-party importer tool so you can import your checks into the program.

Furthermore, here's a guide to print your checks directly in QBO: Print a check in QuickBooks Online.

Keep in touch if you have other questions about entering batch checks in QBO. We're always here to assist you further. Stay safe, and have a great rest of the day.
