Yes, QuickBooks can assigned automatically in a sequential numerical order by enabling Custom transaction numbers. Each new entry or transaction will increment higher than the previous one.
Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon in the upper right corner.
- Click Accounts and Settings.
- Select the Sales tab, then tap the Sales form content pencil icon
- In this section, locate the "Custom transaction numbers" option and toggle the button to enable it.
- Hit Save and then Done.
