We can do a few browser troubleshooting steps to get rid of the unusual behavior. Piled up cache on the browser you're frequently using can cause features in QuickBooks not to function well.
Log in to QuickBooks using a private browser since they don't store any cache files and then create an invoice. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to open one:
- For Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- For Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- For Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
- For Safari: Command + Shift + N
If you're able to invoice a customer successfully, we can clear you main browser's cache so QuickBooks can start fresh.You can also use other supported browsers such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox.
