Can we capture payment details against a 'Bill' in the Quickbooks Online?

No, it's not a duplicate post. In the post you mentioned i was checking for adding bank details for a vendor, and in this post i am checking that Bill is already paid, and now is there any way i can mention few details like: Payment method via which it was paid, reference number etc.

To view the payment details, you'll have to open the bill payment transaction link to the bill. Here's how:

1. Go to Expenses and choose Bills.
2. Select the Paid tab.
3. In the Action column, click Show payments and then View details.
   
4. You will see the details of the payment. If it was processed by Bill Pay with a paper check, the check image will appear once the check clears.

Additionally, you can run vendor reports. These allow you to track your accounts payable and monitor your outstanding bills. Some of the bill-related reports in QBO include:

1. Accounts Payable Aging Summary and Detail Reports
2. Vendor Balance Summary and Detail Reports
3. Unpaid Bills Report
