Currently, invoice and bill number can only have a maximum of 21 characters. If you’re trying to enter more than these characters, you can use the memo field instead.
You can also share your preferred number of characters with our engineers through feedback. Just click the Gear icon and select Feedback.

I think Quickbook should update to open a maximum of 21 characters to 30 at least.
Like big suppliers, AMAZON and the STRIPE credit card company use more than 21 characters' Invoice numbers or references.
To put MEMO, it is really hard to reconcile, Please consider this issue seriously and urgently..
