I'm here to share some information on how QuickBooks sets up the chart of accounts.
QuickBooks has default accounts wherein you can store all your business's transactions. To avoid messing up your account, I'd suggest reaching out to your accountant so they can guide you on the best accounts to set up for an independent actor.
If you did not select a standard, pre-created Chart of Accounts, you can import a CSV (Comma-separated value) template. The available templates are organized by industry type. You can check this file for more information: Lists of accounts.
