Can you restore anything without the "advanced" version? I.E. can I restore at least individual things like a quote or invoice to a previous version?

Even if you're not using the Advanced version, you can recover individual transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), zion. We can use the Audit Log feature to get the details so you can re-enter them. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Audit log.
  2. Select the Filter drop-down and pick the appropriate user, date, and event(s).
  3. Click Apply.
  4. Then, locate the (deleted) transaction.
  5. When you find the item, click View under the History column.
  6. You'll see all the information needed for the transaction under the Event section.
  7. Use those details to re-enter the transaction with its original date.

For more details about using the Audit Log tool, please see this article: Utilize the audit log to re-enter deleted transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, QuickBooks offers a range of financial reports that can provide an overview of all your business matters. To run, customize, and print one, you can refer to this article: Pull up reports in QuickBooks Online.

If you have follow-up questions about restoring individual transactions in QBO, you can always come back to this thread. We're here to help you out.

@zion-techtastic-

If you don't have QBO Advanced, you can use a 3rd party backup restore app.
