Can you set up automatic monthly recurring payments to vendors?

We can set a Reminder schedule when creating a recurring bill in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This way, you'll be reminded to create a bill using the template and change the amount every month. Also, if you want the auto payment to the vendor you can consider this option: Pay a vendor.

Another option, utilize Melio to pay your bills. You can choose a payment frequency (monthly or weekly), the number of payments and the day you'd like payments to go out. You can pay your bills via bank transfers or credit cards - even if your vendors and recipients only accept paper checks or bank transfers.
