Buy nowHello. I need to be able to reduce the width of some columns on various reports. I have no problem increasing a column width by dragging the double-prong arrow to the right. But I cannot drag the double-prong arrow to the left. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!
Hi there, @wagersb. I'll share some details about reducing the width of columns when running a report in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Before anything else, know that I recognize the importance of being able to reduce a column's width when running reports. As I checked here on my end, the feature you're trying to access is unavailable. You can only increase the width of the column to input details.
You can consider importing your reports to Excel and then from there. You can adjust the width to fit the data you entered in that column. If you wish to continue with this method, I'll gladly input the steps below. To begin, here's how:
Once done, access the Excel file you downloaded and manually adjust the width to your preference.Additionally, I've got you this article in case you'd like to customize your report to show specific data in QBO: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
You can also check this page to learn how you can set up a scheduled report in QBO: Set up and modify Scheduled Reports.
@wagersb, if you have any additional QuickBooks-related concerns or need help performing specific tasks in QuickBooks. You can mention me in the comment section below. I've got your back, and I'll help you once again. Take care, and have a nice day!

Why did Intuit make the feature unavailable? It's available when using on Desktop and has been for decades. It's what everyone wants...
