Cannot Sort by Category/Product/Service amount

After QBO changed "Amount" to "Category/Product/Service amount" I am no longer able to sort by this field in a transaction report. Is this a bug, is there a modern view report that allows sorting by transaction amount, or is this a new "feature"?

Hello, @cpccc. The sorting option you're seeing is part of the new update for the modern view report in QuickBooks Online. To sort the amount in your transaction report, you can export it to an Excel file and then edit it from there. I'll elaborate on the details below.

Hello, is there a way to sort by amount without exporting to Excel? The feature used to be there and now it's gone and it's very inconvenient to have to export to Excel just to sort and then do what I needed to do in QBO.

That's basically what I was asking for, and the "solution" is to download yet another file on to your computer, open it, sort it, and work in Excel. Supremely annoying. I hope they fix this.
