Hello all. I use Quickbooks Accountant Desktop 2019 for my personal finances. Is there a way to change the default quick report column size settings so that when I right click an account in the chart of accounts and click "quick report", the columns are the size that I want and do not have to be resized before printing? For example, currently the "type" column is about 3 times too wide, which causes the amount and balance columns to not fit on the page when I save the report as a pdf (print > Save as pdf). I can resize the column by dragging the 3 dots at the end of the column title, but QB doesn't save that. So when I rerun the report, the column sizes revert back to how they were before I resized them.

Good morning, @TheAccountant813.
Thanks for reaching out to the Community for support. I hope you're having a great day. I'm happy to provide insight into your report.
At this time, there is no setting to change the default quick report column size, and it save for next time. For now, you'll need to drag the 3 dots as you mentioned. I understand how beneficial this can be for you, so I've submitted a feedback request to our product development team. Although it's not guaranteed it will be in the next update, our product development team analyzes each feedback request and will take them into consideration for upcoming updates.
You can follow all the latest happenings and updates by using our Blog Site.
In the meantime, you can memorize the quick report to save the changes. However, by memorizing the report you will need to pull the report from your memorized report list instead of a new quick report each time. I've included some steps to memorize the report below.
That's all there is to it. Please let me know if you have additional questions or concerns. You can check out Create, access, and modify memorized reports for further details.
Feel free to reach out to the Community at any time. We're always around to lend a helping hand. Take care and have a great day!

Users want to be able to change column widths without having to make even more "custom" reports to find every time.
FIX IT, FIX IT, FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi there, @Ecurb.
Being able to set a default column width for QuickReport in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is unavailable. As a workaround, you can follow the recommended steps outlined by Tori B to customize the report's column size and memorize the modification.
You can also, send feedback to our product developers to request the addition of this feature to QBDT. Here's how:
