Change or reclassify transactions ( from customer to another customer)

I'd like to share some details about reclassifying transactions in QuickBooks Online, @M Alarjeh

Currently, the reclassify transaction tool is only available in QuickBooks Online Accountant and QuickBooks Online Advanced. If you're using the same version, follow these:

In QBOA:

  1. Access your client’s QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Choose the Accountant Tools, then click on Reclassify transactions.

In QBO Advanced:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click on Settings ⚙, then hit Reclassify Transactions.

Then, in Reclassify Transactions:

  1. Click the Account types dropdown, and choose Profit and Loss to see income and expense accounts. Or choose Balance Sheet to see your asset, liability, and equity accounts.
  2. Open the Account list, and choose the account with the transactions you want to change.
  3. Use these types, class, customer/vendor, and modify filters to filter the list.
  4. Click on Find transactions.
  5. Choose the checkbox for each transaction you want to change.
  6. Select Reclassify.
  7. Choose a new account to move the transactions to from the Change account to dropdown, a new class from Change class to dropdown, or a new location from the Change location to dropdown.
  8. Once ready, click on Apply.

Feel free to review this module for more information and for the detailed steps: Reclassify or move multiple transactions at once.

If you're using the QuickBooks Online Plus version, you'll have to manually open the transactions and then change or reclassify them one at a time.

I'm also adding this reference about keeping track and handling transactions in QBO: Run and customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
