Changing a product's account

Hello,

 

I assigned the wrong account to a product and had a couple of sales. Now that I realized that it's wrong, I change the assigned account of the product. The account in the balance sheet didn't update accourdingly. What are my options?

Changing a product's account

Hello there, userimripersiado.

 

When you update the service and non-inventory item, you have the option to select the Also update this account in historical transactions checkbox. For inventory items, on the other hand, it'll only affect future transactions. To update the historical transactions, you'll have to edit each transaction and toggle the item again manually.
