I would like to run a report of our entire g/l accounts that will show the parent account of each sub-account.
Or is there some way when I open the Chart of Accounts window to show the parent accounts on the screen for each sub-account?

Hello there, @Ruff21040. I want to ensure you'll be able to run a report to see your parent and sub-accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
In the Chart of Accounts of your QBO, you can easily identify the parent account and its sub-accounts. Please see the screenshot below for a visual guide:

On the other hand, you can also run the Account List report and filter the data to show all parents as well as their sub-accounts. Here's how:
