Check Detail report

Hello, I'm a previous QB user but its been a few years. Can anyone tell me how to create a report for Check Detail that only includes checks I print that day....the date, the name and amount only....then possibly a total at the end?

Thanks so much!

Susan

Check Detail report

Hi there, Susan1966.

I'd like to help and make sure you print the report you needed.

You can use and run the Check Detail report and filter the date to when you did print them. Let me show you how to do it.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports menu.
  2. Choose Banking.
  3. Select Check Detail.
  4. Filter the date From and To at the top, then hit Refresh.

I've also added this article to give you additional option to personalize your own reports: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

You can also check out this link for more information about all available reports that can be accessed through the QuickBooks Reports menu: Understand reports.

You may click the Reply button below if you still have other questions about reports. I'll be here if you need help. Have a good one.

Check Detail report

@Archie_B

The OP's request was, "a report for Check Detail that only includes checks I print that day."

Your solution creates a report of checks dated within a date range, which is not the same thing. Checks printed today could have any date on them.
