Thank you for reaching out to us, @Impressionism. Rest assured that I am here to help you resolve this issue.
Firstly, it seems that you have created some new accounts instead of setting up a new class. This could be the reason why the report does not show all the activities or transactions linked to your class. Therefore, you need to review your deposits and verify if they are posted to the correct account, category, and class to ensure that everything is accurately recorded.
Furthermore, double-check the dates, accounting method, and other filters in your Profit and Loss by Class Report because that could hinder you from seeing the transactions associated with a class.
We suggest reviewing the setup for those mentioned reasons, and we would greatly appreciate it if you could clarify why you ended up setting up an account in the Chart of Accounts (COA) to service fee items instead of creating a class. This way, we can pinpoint the cause and provide a resolution for this issue.
Regarding the account that was created incorrectly in your COA, you can make it inactive if you don't plan to use it anymore. QuickBooks makes accounts inactive instead of deleting them so that you can access past transaction data for reporting purposes.
However, if everything has been checked and the issue persists, please provide us with more details, preferably a screenshot or a flow of the steps you've taken to add the class. So we can guide you with the accurate help you need.
