Buy nowhi I need some urgent help preparing my bookkeeping for taxes. My case is a bit complicated and this is a new business. I was told to put together a lost and profit and also classify my expenses and income on quickbooks. Even though I connected my bank to my QB account, I'm so lost and don't know where to start. Please help
THanks
Hi, @3bfm.
I appreciate you've successfully linked your bank account with QuickBooks Online (QBO). With this, preparing your books for paying taxes would only take a few more processes with the help of an accountant. With access to your company, your accountant can review your books, categorize your transactions correctly, and collaborate on any issues.
I recommend you find an accountant near you and add them to your QBO account. Let me guide you on how to add an accountant user in QBO when you find one:
Once done, feel free to check out the guides here about categorizing your financial transactions and preparing your books before filing taxes:

Thanks a lot @AlverMarkT
I took your advice and been talking to accountants this evening to find a good fit. One of the potential accountants ask me for access to my quickbooks. However I want to give him limited access for obvious confidential and privacy reasons. How do I send him an invite but make sure he can see what my profile looks like but not have access to make changes?
Any help input is appreciated
Thanks for reaching back, @3bfm. Rest assured that I'll be here to guide you on how to set up limited access to your potential accountants.
Since my colleague already provided you the steps to send an invite, I'll walk you through how to manage user roles in QuickBooks Online. Accountants have full access to your data. However, you can set your accountants as standard users to limit their access to your account.
Here's how:
Check out this article for more details: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online.
Also, I'll be adding this handy article to help you ensure your data stays accurate inside QBO: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.
