Hello, @Kimjustice. Thanks for reaching out to the Community with your concern.

To get a better understanding of your situation, did you attach a rejected deposit to an invoice? If so, don't worry. I'm here to guide you through the process of getting you back on track.

The first step is to void the invoice with the rejected deposit. I recommend voiding the invoice so that you have documentation of the transaction in your books. You can do this in just a couple of clicks:

  1. Locate the invoice, then Edit.
  2. At the top of the invoice, next to Save, click on the Delete drop-down menu and choose Void.

Now you can create a new invoice. I've provided the steps below on how to do this with ease:

  1. On the Home screen or the Customers menu, select Create Invoices.
  2. From the Customer: Job drop-down, choose a customer or customer job. If the customer or job is not on the list yet, you can select Add New.
  3. Fill in the relevant information at the top of the form like the Date, Invoice #Bill to/Sold to, and Terms.
  4. In the detail area, select the items. Note: When you select or add an item, the description and amount are automatically populated based on the description and unit cost entered when it was set up. You can delete or modify this when creating invoices.
  5. Select Save & Close.

Once you send this to your customer and receive a payment, you attach the deposit to the new invoice.
