I can see you're working hard to streamline your vendor report analysis, Andrea, and I completely understand how important it is to find efficient ways to manage your data. It's clear that you're looking to save time and avoid redundant work, which is a smart approach in any business. Let me share some options that can help you manage your vendor reports more effectively and potentially save you valuable time in your work process.

To add your new registers, you can easily copy and paste data from QuickBooks vendor reports to Excel by following these steps:

  1. Open your QuickBooks report.
  2. Select the data you want to copy by holding the left mouse button and dragging it to highlight the desired cells.
  3. Press Ctrl+C on your keyboard to copy the selected data.
  4. Open your Excel spreadsheet.
  5. Click on the cell where you want to paste the data.
  6. Right-click and select Paste, or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V.

This method allows you to copy only the new or specific data you need without re-exporting the entire report, providing a quick way to update your Excel sheet with the latest information from QuickBooks.

I hope the options and methods we've discussed today will help you manage your vendor reports more efficiently in QuickBooks, Andrea. While the exact functionality you're used to from SAP may not be available, I believe these alternatives can still save you time and streamline your workflow.

copy cells from quick books to paste in excel sheet

thank for your interest in my question

I tried to do that but not working i try to use holding the left mouse button and dragging it to highlight the desired cells but  i can't select any cells i don't know why.  Is there a command or keyboard i can click on to select the cells and after that click on ctrl+c and go to  excel and click on  ctrl+v

when i click on left mouse in QuickBooks  appear other windows called transactions where can modify font , font style size  I consider i need to set up something first?

thank you

Thanks for following up after trying out the steps we previously suggested, Andrea. I'd like to share additional information to help you copy certain data from QuickBooks Online.

To start, I'd like to let you know that we don't have a keyboard shortcut or an available command to select individual cells while running a report.

However, I’d like to provide you with an article that lists all the keyboard shortcuts currently available in QuickBooks Online: Keyboard shortcuts for QuickBooks Online.

Could you let us know which browser you are using? I recommend switching to a different browser to identify any technical or browser-related issues that can prevent you from highlighting cells within the program.
